Maybe they find a dragon egg that hatches. The hatchling is already powerful enough to be a real challenge to defeat, but not as powerful as the dragons to come, who will destroy large parts of the world in the next 200 years.

I still pop in there every once in a while. Tbh I'd love to find more people that want to do it for fun every now and then. I've been thinking about starting a guild that focuses on stuff like that and making the game more of a challenge/fun (eg Proh skills only, full monk teams, everyone has to take skill X ect) but seeing how people force their selves to do the less fun content in the least fun way, I don't think it'd work out too well :P

I miss this area. It'd be so sweet if Anet revamped it. The only reason people go here now is for Zquest, Moa Chick, HoM Statue, and the occasional person trying to get a purple Crystalline.

I would love to see Sorrow's Furnace get some love. It doesn't have to be major amounts of new content but the idea of Proph only weapons either through a Design-a-Weapon contest or dev creation would be awesome. And every dungeon deserves a chest, especially one as well made as Sorrow's
